Welcome to The Frozen Yeti Pledge
Helping communities around the world one mile at a time

I Run, We Give
On February 2nd, while Punxsutawney Phil will be peeking out from the ground, I will be running a 30 hour race named "The Frozen Yeti" through the Hale Reservation in Westwood, MA. To give a bit more purpose to this race (and maybe convince me to run a few more miles), I am asking you to volunteer a minute or two of your time per mile that I run.

WHY?
I love to run and I love to run really far. Unfortunately, training for and racing ultramarathons is very time expensive. I would love for all of my time spent training and racing at the Frozen Yeti to serve a purpose beyond myself and to help those in need.

By gathering a few minutes per mile from a large number of people, this race has the potential to impact people in our communities on a scale that I cannot accomplish alone. Every little bit counts!

Things to Consider
1. The Frozen Yeti consists of a 15mi loop course that can be run as many times as possible over 30 hours. In February. On trails.

Therefore, the amount of miles that I will run will be very weather dependent. I'm expecting to accomplish anywhere from 30-100 miles. Sorry for the vast range and remember to keep it in mind when deciding on your pledge amount.

2. Aim for all pledges to be completed within a year.

3. While I am encouraging everyone to donate time, monetary donations are also welcome!

4. Volunteering alone can be a scary and daunting task, therefore, I recommend that you grab a friend to volunteer with you or join me in a group volunteer session.
